Zonal Valve Box
A Zonal Valve Box is a crucial component in medical gas systems, allowing for the regulation of gas flow to specific areas or zones within healthcare facilities. It features individual shutoff valves for each zone, enabling precise control over gas supply to areas like operating rooms, ICUs, or patient rooms. The box is constructed with robust materials like brass or stainless steel and includes safety features such as pressure relief valves and monitoring systems. It is designed for ease of maintenance, allowing quick adjustments or repairs, which enhances operational efficiency and flexibility. By isolating gas supply in specific zones, the Zonal Valve Box improves safety and allows for better management of gas resources, contributing to effective patient care and streamlined operations within healthcare settings.
Zonal valve box is a non-lubricated ball type valve housed in a secured metallic box with transparent window which is installed in the Medical Gas Pipeline System in different gas configuration including Vacuum line. These are required to isolate medical gas services to specific zones & wards in a healthcare unit in case of an emergency or general maintenance work without disrupting supply to the entire supply system.
